APRIL: Your Author Assessment: You won’t succeed trying to write (or be) like anyone but yourself. In fact, emerging research reveals that focusing on your true self—rather than who you think you should be—is crucial for progress. That’s why the first lesson of the Q2 membership is a deep dive into what makes you the novelist you are. You’ll get clear on your strengths as a storyteller and as an authorpreneur—and ensure the story you’re telling about yourself aligns with the career you truly want to create.
MAY: Category of One: Comparisonitis is the thief of creativity—and yes, confidence. In the second month of the membership, you’ll learn why comparing and despairing is so common, and how to end that pattern to feel better and take more action. You’ll also discover how to harness envy in an entirely new and surprisingly useful way.
JUNE: BYOC (Be Your Own Cheerleader): Yes, having support from like-minded writers and mentors is essential for momentum. But you can be your own cheerleader, too. In fact, research shows that self-coaching can be incredibly effective for getting unstuck. In the last month of the membership, you’ll receive simple coaching frameworks for identifying beliefs and behaviors that are holding you back—as well as how to make short-term decisions that benefit your long-term career.
COPY CLINIC: Title Your Novel: Think titles are tricky? They don’t have to be. Learn how to pick a title that matches your genre and comps, and is both compelling and clear (the two steps that are essential for attracting your ideal readers).

Each month from April through June, you’ll receive:
A core career lesson. We’ll focus on one essential skill for upleveling your fiction career. (Read more about the curriculum above.)
Two group coaching sessions. Want personalized help? You’ll have the opportunity to be coached by Camille during group coaching. You can get coached on any subject impacting your fiction career (think: setting boundaries, marketing, procrastination, money, time management, running another business, etc.).
The membership also includes:
A quarterly copy clinic. In Q2, I’ll share how I title my novels—and give you a framework for titling your next novel, too.
A private online Facebook group where you can connect and share resources with your fellow Career Novelists.
A coaching session dedicated to pitching your novel. If you’re preparing to pitch or are currently querying, one of the coaching sessions in April is dedicated exclusively to this topic.
Discounted private coaching, exclusively for members. Want personalized input on your fiction career? I've opened up a limited number of single sessions at a discounted rate (limit one per writer per quarter). You’ll receive details with your welcome email.
All lessons and coaching sessions will be recorded and uploaded into a private membership portal so you can watch or listen at your convenience. Sessions are always optional—so no worries if you can’t attend live.

Between 45 and 60 dedicated novelists participate each quarter. Many are returning members—but we have writers who are new to the membership each quarter. Please know that “community” is not code for “clique.” Inclusivity is paramount to my coaching and this experience is designed to foster connections.

That’s great! The Career Novelists Membership is designed to be flexible—participation is encouraged but never required.

You will have access to recordings for six months from the beginning of the quarter. For example, if you participate in the Q2 2026 Membership, you will have access to those recordings until the end of Q3 (September 30, 2026).

The Career Novelists Membership is only available as a quarterly program. It’s designed that way to create continuity in lessons and foster a true sense of community among members.

The membership is open to all writers!

Yes—that’s more than okay! The Facebook group is completely optional. Facebook isn’t our favorite, either, but we’re using it because it’s more accessible than Slack or Discord.

Only you can decide that for sure—but the three core lessons are for anyone building a writing career. Many of our members are multi-passionate and don’t focus exclusively on fiction.

Novelists at all stages of their career are welcome! The membership is made up of both published and unpublished novelists, as well as a mix of authors who publish traditionally, independently, and via hybrid models.
