When it comes to reaching your writing goals, support can be the game-changer.

Yes, writing can be a solitary endeavor. That doesn’t mean you should go it alone. Because success doesn’t happen in a vacuum. In fact, just the opposite: Research reveals that productive habits and a positive mindset—both of which are essential for achievement and happiness—spread from person to person. What’s more, studies show that when others believe you can reach your goals, you’re actually more likely to do so.

Ready to be a part of a community of novelists making big things happen—and to accomplish a lot more over the next three months?

Join the Q4 Career Novelists Membership, which is dedicated to helping you create a prolific and profitable fiction career.

Each month from October through December, you’ll receive:

  • A core career lesson. We’ll focus on one essential skill for upleveling your fiction career. (Read more about the curriculum below.)

  • A community chat and group coaching session. We’ll share our goals and the challenges we’re facing for added accountability. (Sharing is always optional and not required for joining these sessions.) Camille will also answer career questions and offer coaching during these sessions.

  • A group coaching session. Want personalized help? You’ll have the opportunity to be coached by Camille during group coaching. You can get coached on any subject impacting your fiction career (think: setting boundaries, marketing, procrastination, money, time management, running another business, etc.).

The membership also includes:

  • A quarterly copy clinic. In Q4, we’ll focus on writing a bio that makes you the obvious choice to your ideal readers.

  • A private online Facebook group where you can connect and share resources with your fellow Career Novelists.

  • A virtual happy hour. Join your fellow members and toast the end of the quarter with your beverage of choice at this casual gathering.

  • Discounted private coaching, exclusively for members. Want personalized input on your fiction career? I've opened up a limited number of single 50-minute sessions at a discounted rate (limit one per writer per quarter). You’ll receive details with your welcome email.

All lessons and coaching sessions will be recorded and uploaded into a private membership portal so you can watch or listen at your convenience. Sessions are always optional—so no worries if you can’t attend live.

Q4: BIG BOOK ENERGY

As a novelist, are you constantly telling yourself to be grateful for whatever crumbs publishing tosses your way? Or are you calling your own shots and planning for massive success? The latter is Big Book Energy…

And it’s the key to creating the career you dreamed of when you first decided to become an author.

Believe it or not, Big Book Energy isn’t about writing the next great American novel, or even a Reese Book Club pick (though if either is your aim, it’ll definitely help). Instead, it’s about strategizing for success with a mindset that reinforces that what you really want isn’t just possible; it’s inevitable.

This quarter, the Career Novelists Membership is dedicated to helping you cultivate Big Book Energy so you can end 2025 with confidence and make 2026 your best(selling) year yet. Here’s what we’ll cover:

M1. Big Book Essentials

Of course you want to sell loads of novels to adoring fans. If you didn’t, you’d be in a different (and let’s face it, easier) business. But if you fear you can’t achieve that, know that what we truly desire often feels the most terrifying—which is why it’s so easy to aim for less. This month, we’ll explore the key elements of a “big book,” from the pitch and positioning to your approach to writing it. (Hint: Big books do match the market—but they also harness your unique talents as a novelist.)

M2. Believing Bigger

Have you ever met a writer who expects things to work out for them—and that’s exactly what happens? If you want to succeed, you can’t spend your time and energy bracing for failure. This doesn’t mean gaslighting yourself or pretending you’re thrilled when your best-laid plans go awry. Instead, it’s about allowing yourself to experience optimism and excitement…and not interpreting setbacks as signs you’ve doomed your career. This month, we’ll explore the research-backed connection between optimism and positive results so you can learn to expect—and create—the best.

M3. Your Big Book Brand

Big books require authors to take up space and convey their value to readers and the publishing industry. Yet so many novelists mistakenly believe that sharing (or even creating) an author brand is egotistical and will set them up for a fall. In reality, research shows the exact opposite is true. This month, you’ll learn to sell yourself on (you guessed it) yourself. We’ll also go deep on how to share your strengths with the world—without spending all your time on social media.

MEMBERSHIP FAQs

  • Typically, 30 to 50 dedicated novelists participate each quarter. Many are returning members—but we also have new-to-the-membership writers each round. Please know that “community” is not code for “clique.” Inclusivity is paramount to Camille’s coaching and this experience is designed to foster connections.

  • That’s great! The Career Novelists Membership is designed to be flexible—participation is encouraged but never required.

  • You will have access until September 30, 2026.

  • The Career Novelists Membership is only available as a quarterly program. It’s designed that way to create continuity in lessons and foster a true sense of community among members.

  • The membership is now open to all writers! Doors close at 9 a.m. ET on October 1.

  • Yes—that’s more than okay! The Facebook group is completely optional. Facebook isn’t our favorite, either, but we’re using it because it’s more accessible than Slack or Discord.

  • Only you can decide that for sure—but the three core lessons are for anyone building a writing career. Many of our members are multi-passionate and don’t focus exclusively on fiction.
