Q3: Time to Write
Odds are, you want to write more. And you plan to do just that. Whether you’ve recently started your first novel or are already published, you’ll stop squeezing writing into the margins of your busy schedule … just as soon as life cooperates.
Here’s the truth: It won’t. Non-writers will never understand why they can’t interrupt your writing sessions. There will always be another fire to put out … and someone asking you to wait on your dreams while you help them with theirs.
If you want the “right time” to write, you have to create it. Not next month—and definitely not next year.
Now is how you reach your writing goals.
Becoming the novelist you really want to be requires one thing (and it isn’t connections or a creative writing degree): writing. A lot.
Writing consistently is the only proven way to develop your unique voice and hone your storytelling skills. (Hint: That’s your true author brand.) It’s also how you build the body of work that leads to a prolific publishing career.
That’s why the Q3 Membership is dedicated to helping you show up regularly at your computer—and write your heart out.
We’re going to go deep on what it means to really prioritize your fiction career. And yes, that’s 100% possible, even if you have a demanding day job, caregiver responsibilities, or aren’t making money from your writing yet.
This isn’t run-of-the-mill time management advice, and it’s definitely not about spending eight hours a day drafting. These strategies work even if you only have an hour or two to dedicate to fiction (that’s how I’ve written nearly all of my 12 novels).
You’re not too late. In fact, now is the best time to create the writing life you’ve been waiting for—and I’d love to help you do just that. Ready to write more over the next 90 days, and beyond? Read on and join me and a truly wonderful group of novelists in the Q3 membership.

Q3 Membership Curriculum
Here’s what we’ll cover:
July: Your Writing Retreat
Forget productivity hacks: The real secret to getting more done is actually enjoying what you’re doing. This month, you’ll learn how to turn writing into a retreat from the hard parts of life—and even a luxurious experience you always look forward to. We’ll also explore the research-backed magic of spending time with other writers, and why doing so helps reach your goals faster.
August: Room to Write
Writing requires space on your calendar—and in your head. Yes, clearing clutter feels great. But it also reduces decision fatigue and makes it easier to focus on your priorities. This month, you’ll learn to close open loops, automate decisions, and find a lot more time for writing. P.S. This will open up more space for your non-writing interests, too.
September: Bestselling Boundaries
Your best-laid plans won’t do a thing if you’re constantly putting everyone else’s needs above your own. This month, we’ll do a deep dive on protecting your time, energy—and dreams. You’ll learn to set gentle but firm boundaries with friends, family, and coworkers who don’t “get” what it takes to succeed as a writer.
Copy Clinic: Pitch Perfect: When someone asks you to tell them about your novel, can you answer quickly, with confidence and clarity? In this quarter’s copy clinic, you’ll have the opportunity to submit your logline (aka elevator pitch) for consideration. I’ll offer feedback on selected pitches—and explain how to write a high-concept logline that makes agents, editors, and readers say, “I’ve got to read that!”
The Career Novelists Membership is $395 USD for three months.
How (and Why) the Membership Works
When it comes to reaching your writing goals, support can be the game-changer.
Yes, writing can be a solitary endeavor. That doesn’t mean you should go it alone—success doesn’t happen in a vacuum. In fact, just the opposite: Research reveals that productive habits and a positive mindset (which are essential for achievement as well as happiness) spread from person to person. What’s more, studies show that when others believe you can reach your goals, you’re actually more likely to do so.
Ready to be a part of a community of novelists making big things happen—and to accomplish a lot more over the next three months?
Join the Q3 Career Novelists Membership, which is dedicated to helping you write more—and make fiction your career.
Each month from July through September, you’ll receive:
A core career lesson. We’ll focus on one essential skill for upleveling your fiction career. (Read more about the curriculum above.)
Two group coaching sessions. Want personalized help? You’ll have the opportunity to be coached by Camille during group coaching. You can get coached on any subject impacting your fiction career (think: setting boundaries, marketing, procrastination, money, time management, running another business, etc.). Q3 includes a bonus coaching session on Saturday, August 1 that’s open to all members.
The membership also includes:
A quarterly copy clinic. In Q3, I’ll share how to write a logline that makes people say, “I’ve got to read that!” about your story.
A private online Facebook group where you can connect and share resources with your fellow Career Novelists.
A coaching session dedicated to pitching your novel. If you’re preparing to pitch or are currently querying, one of the coaching sessions in April is dedicated exclusively to this topic.
Discounted private coaching, exclusively for members. Want personalized input on your fiction career? I've opened up a limited number of single sessions at a discounted rate (limit one per writer per quarter). You’ll receive details with your welcome email.
All lessons and coaching sessions will be recorded and uploaded into a private membership portal so you can watch or listen at your convenience. Sessions are always optional—so no worries if you can’t attend live.

Membership FAQs
-
Between 40 and 60 dedicated novelists participate each quarter. Many are returning members—but we have writers who are new to the membership each quarter. Please know that “community” is not code for “clique.” Inclusivity is paramount to my coaching and this experience is designed to foster connections.
-
That’s great! The Career Novelists Membership is designed to be flexible—participation is encouraged but never required.
-
You will have access to recordings for six months from the beginning of the quarter. For example, if you participate in the Q3 2026 Membership, you will have access to those recordings until the end of Q4 (December 30, 2026).
-
The Career Novelists Membership is only available as a quarterly program. It’s designed that way to create continuity in lessons and foster a true sense of community among members.
-
Yes—that’s more than okay! The Facebook group is completely optional. Facebook isn’t our favorite, either, but we’re using it because it’s more accessible than Slack or Discord.
-
Only you can decide that for sure—but the three core lessons are for anyone building a writing career. Many of our members are multi-passionate and don’t focus exclusively on fiction. That’s why the membership is open to all writers.
-
Not at all—all writers, regardless of where they’re at in their career, are welcome! The membership is made up of both published and unpublished novelists, as well as a mix of authors who publish traditionally, independently, and via hybrid models.
